American Airlines Urination Incident

American Airlines Passenger Urinates on Seatmate on Long-Haul Flight and Yep, You Guessed What's to Blame (msn.com)

During an American Airlines flight from the United States to India this week, an American citizen was urinated on by an Indian man. Reports say the Indian man, Arya Vohra, was intoxicated during his actions.

This news story claims that the flight attendants were not quite sure where this man's assigned seat was located, but they believed he was in the last row of business class when the incident occurred - which explains why he was intoxicated.

Johnny Jet, MSN News Writer, did not say what was done with the man while still on the plane during flight, but he did say that the plane was met by local law enforcement upon touchdown, and he was taken away. Soon after he was in the police's custody, it was discovered that Mr. Vohra has already been banned from American Airlines yet somehow still managed to board the plane. Reports say he will pay heavily.

As someone who has been on extensive flights across continents, this story makes me very leery of American Airlines and flying long distances with the chance of a banned passenger on board. Luckily this act of misconduct was not life-threatening to other passengers and workers, but American Airlines, as well as their customers, should be concerned about the people in charge of boarding passengers onto their planes.

Next time you are considering traveling long distances, be sure to do your research on Airlines. Due to this story, American Airlines may be off of my radar for the foreseeable future. I love traveling, but arriving and departing safely is the most imporant thing.

  1. I fly a few times a year, sometimes on American and I agree, its concerning that a banned passenger made it on board. Instances like this make me wonder what else airlines get away with that we don't know about.
